Hi Readers,
Imagine getting to walk outside without that jolt of “forgot my mask” adrenaline. Like many of you, I can’t wait! That said, I’m trying to make the most of this time, as I know the days are coming when I’ll be back to overcommitting myself academically and socially, and I’ll long for another period of being legally required to spend “me time.”
This week, a lot of questions you’ve emailed me have revolved around overcoming obstacles and moving forward. Right now, when things feel on pause, it can be hard to stay focused on our goals, and we may find ourselves more likely to respond to situations with apathy or self-doubt. I’m hoping this week’s column will remind us to continue looking forward, whether that means making the most of new experiences or casting off the shackles of old experiences. Happy reading!
