Founded in 1890, the Wheaton Record publishes on the authority of the Wheaton College Board of Trustees and the Administration through the College Committee on Student Publications, but is independently operated by a staff of full-time students. Traditionally, the Record has existed exclusively in print, releasing news, editorials and advertisements weekly. Since the fall of 2020, the Record has existed as a rolling online publication, publishing quarterly printed editions.
