“I never thought I would see people sanitizing the sculpture studio,” said junior community art student Heidi Melo. COVID-19 precautions have posed a special challenge for art classes and art-making in Adams Hall, where desks, drawing benches and ceramics tables, once mashed together and messy, are now, like much else on campus, six feet apart and meticulously clean.
