My name is Claire Feeney, and I am thrilled to be the Opinion Editor for the Record this year. If you know anything about me, you know I love a good hot take or two. In fact, I have a few hot takes myself. I am hated (maybe even ostracized) in North Carolina for my opinion on vinegar barbecue (save yourself now, and don’t try it).
