Sleep Deprivation Is a Wheaton Student’s Alcohol

Pulling an all-nighter may be Covenant approved, but that doesn’t mean it’s not affecting your clarity of mind.

Two freshmen sprawl on the couches in the Fischer lobby. Their speech is slurred, and they seem to have trouble finding the right words. Despite these handicaps, their conversations are deep and heartfelt as they pour out all the thoughts they would not have been willing to share by daylight. At a secular school, they would be drunk. 
This, however, is Wheaton College, and the two freshmen are merely sleep deprived.
