Arena Theater Embarks on a 17th-Century Comedy, Set in the 1920s

The costumes and props of the play are particularly important to transforming its black-box performance venue.

Large forks, medicine bottles and a large teddy bear, along with other seemingly miscellaneous objects, fill three rectangular boxes in Jenks Hall. These items make up the props for Arena Theater’s production of “The Imaginary Invalid” by Molière, adapted by Oded Gross and directed by Kailey Bell ‘99, visiting professor of communication.
