An invitation to commune with God through Scripture
We find many sounds beautiful in the morning. It might be the humming of the coffee machine, or the birds chirping outside. Since the start of this semester, every morning around 7:00 a.m. one of my favorite sounds floats in from my apartment living room: one of my roommates reading his Bible.
His disciplined, daily engagement with Scripture warms my heart on these cold winter mornings, and I encourage us all to follow his example of having a Bible-reading plan this year.
