Gallery Review: Light, Dissolving

Artist Cherith Lundin’s new gallery, “The Garden, The Wall, The Light,” invites viewers to obscure their conceptions of light and space.

American poet Donald Justice’s three-stanza poem, "There Is A Gold Light In Certain Old Paintings" begins with the lines: “There is a gold light in certain old paintings, / That represents a diffusion of sunlight. / It is like happiness, when we are happy.”
This light falls on everything equally. It is the greatest happiness when we are happy, but it falls on everything, regardless of the emotion.
