Throughout my time at Wheaton College, I’ve heard quite a bit of talk about “coming to the table together.” I can recall many classes, chapel talks, church sermons, seminars and dining hall conversations all centered on this idea. Wheaton College students and faculty love phrases like “when you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher wall.” It’s a beautiful picture, but how do we do it?
